I love generalisations, because I’m substantially semiological. I studied communications and marketing, and in particular sociolinguistics and social network marketing. I like grouping, abstractions, symbols, fights for values, especially when those values are also mine.

My contribution to make the world better starts from a quest for truth. I think there is no truth, though. Truth is a sum of everybody’s truths, and that makes a quite great work of my mission to gather and analyze them.

I always try to identify myself with any kind of thought and then – and just after that – compare it to mine. So far, all the confrontations worked together to make up my own way of thinking, starting from the basic values of my western society, such as freedom and democracy. I’m very proud of the groups I belong to, being them national, sovranational, cultural-religious, historical, professional etc.

I’m morbidly in love with words and linguistic expression. I believe that languages are the most amazing product of human brains.

There is a quotation that really defines me well. It’s taken from Joyce’s Dedalus:

“I will tell you what I will do and what I will not do. I will not serve that in which I no longer believe, whether it call itself my home, my fatherland, or my church: and I will try to express myself in some mode of life or art as freely as I can and as wholly as I can, using for my defence the only arms I allow myself to use—silence, exile and cunning
